More creative fun

Ages ago someone gave me a set of broken, highly ornate, carved Victorian bellows. Slowly a plan came to mind. Somewhere between a mountain banjo and a minstrel banjo. I made the body based on the Kentucky mountain banjo and the neck shape has the bulge of some of the earliest minstrel banjos. I continued the carving onto the neck, top and bottom, copying the style on the bellows. The headstock shape was inspired by the shape and feel of the original antique. I then stained and antiqued all the new timber to match the old.
