A new addition to the website for 2019 is a regularly updated blog showing the general goings-ons in the workshop. But before I start here's what happened in 2018.
The year started of nicely getting a couple of open back banjos finished. The first was very experimental and a lot of fun to make. Working very closely with the customer to make something very personal that reflected his love of nature and mushroom foraging.
A 12", 3ply (walnut / maple / walnut) pot with carved walnut 2 piece fretless neck. Patinated copper overlays, Brass tone ring, Jeff Menzies goatskin vellum, handmade brass hardware with custom cast bronze bracket shoes and tailpiece.
