The Angel of Peace banjo. The main brief for this banjo was the Brighton Peace statue, sunflowers and the colour blue. The neck is rippled English sycamore reinforced with carbon fibre with a heel carving inspired by the Brighton statue, the pot is 2 ply English oak with a Richlite rim cap and gilt inside. The fretboard is Richlite with brass position markers and angel of peace statue MOP inlay. Boucher style scroll peghead with gilt sunflower relief. Custom sunflower bracket shoes with handmade hooks and nuts. Custom tension hoop with acid etched sunflower motif. 1/4" rolled brass tonering.
