Here's a copy of the famous banjola as built by August Pollman. I used a 1950s mandolin body which was pretty much the same size as the Pollman body and built a 5 string neck to fit using sapelle and maple. A fun experiment as i had know clue as to how it would sound and I was very pleasantly surprised by the good volume and beautiful sweet tone.
