A fun project to convert a Griffin Banjos, short scale, lefty neck to fit a gourd. I had to cut the profile of the heel to fit the gourd, inlay some maple veneer for flush fret position markers, inlay a MOP star in the peghead. I also made an ebony tailpiece and fitted an ebony nut and re stained it. A very elegant gourd banjo fitted with red Nylgut strings.
